Picnic Party Ideas

Misc.

Hi Veronica:

What a fun idea... a birthday party in a park.

If the children are youngsters, how about taking cold fried chicken or chicken wings?

If they are older children, how about taking all the fixings for Dagwood Sandwiches or Pita pocket sandwiches. It would be kind of fun to see what kind of sandwiches they asssemble for themselves.

Nachos, potato chips, etc. would go great with both. You might want to take lots of the small packages that come in the variety packs so the children can pick what they like.

I would also make a huge assortment of finger jello - lots of colors, lots of shapes and sizes.

And watermellon!!! Yes. What a great chance to be able to eat watermellon and > the seeds!

Be easy on yourself, Veronica. You are going to have your hands full with the party. You do not need to be worried about preparing food at the same time.

I hope you have fun.
