Re. Firm Pumpkin Pie

I have to make my own pumpkin puree and it is never as dry as canned. I add one or two extra egg yolks depending on how runny my pumpkin is. If you think the pie will taste too eggy. strain the yolks before adding. Straining takes out that eggy taste.
