Recipe: Reheating Frozen Cooked Turkey
Misc.Hi Phil,
If your cooked turkey was frozen properly and didn't thaw and refreeze it should be fine. You probably know that reheating can dry it out so thaw it completely and then cover it with foil if heating in the oven. If you have some broth you can add a little to the pan (not too much, you don't want to boil it). Or you can slice it and reheat it in gravy or cover the slices with hot gravy before serving if it looks dry. If you use the microwave for heating watch closely because it can take on a rubbery texture. A roaster oven or crock pot would also be a good option for reheating and retaining moisture.
Happy Holiday Cooking!
