Re: MOLLY - just one snake story!

Just one story about snakes because they are about as charming to me as spiders...but you see, I have this son who loves reptiles, has no fear of any reptile, and just had to have a snake. Well, it was in this special cage with a locking top so I agreed. One day, it got out, which is another story in itself that I won't go into. Being the snake lover that I am, suddenly every electrical cord became that snake, my bed came completely apart every night, all clothes were thoroughly shaken, shoes checked, when a cupboard door was opened I stood waaaay back and allowed time for it to slither out. I never did. My son was broken hearted and his dad promised TO REPLACE the missing snake....yes, we did. As they were putting it in the cage with the locking top, my husband reached down for the heatrock which goes in the cage, only to pick up the missing snake....so, there we were with an elated child and two creepy snakes! Then my nightmares began, because most animals in our house have managed to reproduce, so I would dream of the two snakes,although they were different types and not real good friends, but in my dreams they made more. In reality, they tolerated each other and have now both gone to that great beyond.....hope I go to a different one! my tip for the day - don't take a reptile loving child to a pet store until he has his own home!!!
