Recipe(tried): Re: G'day Angel & MOLLY

Misc.

HI YA'll as they say here in Kentucky! It is great to read your posts. We live in southwestern KY, have for the last 5 years, and are in the process of moving to south central KY. It is really hot and humid here right now which is normal. My dog is a dalmation - he weighs 116. He is a big, muscular one with a large head and broad chest, which is quite unusal for a dalmation. In fact, the average size is around 60 pounds I'm told. The funny story about him is that our vet wanted me to take a Great Dane but I said no, I just wanted a medium sized dog. Well, we got a mutt from the pound but he had parvo, so had to be destroyed. We had to wait several weeks after disinfecting to get another dog. My son had always wanted a Dalmation, this one was the last of a litter and the people were anxious to get rid of him.....we got him at 3 months, went straight to the vet who immediately started laughing. AT 3 months, he weighed 40 pounds! Now, I didn't think that much about it till my vet started chortling....so, I have a dog who weighs the same as me and thinks he is a baby....likes to sit on my lap! He is strong as an ox, bull headed and stubborn, ate trees as a puppy, is allergic to everything! and I just adore him to pieces. Keep up the posts, this is a lot of fun. Becky
