Good Morning, Molly....(yawn)
Will get out my fish/seafood folder and take a peek as to whether monkfish/bass are interchangeable; some fish are 'lean' some 'fat/moist' some good for specific preparation (styles.. e.g. frying).
I see you are really at a 'south point' in Ohio; I live up near the Dover/New Philadelphia... if you have a map; travel up I-77 N into Tuscarawas County then slightly south from the area described is Port Washington, and Gnadenhutten (Jah-Nay-Den-Hutten); we are in a (sort of) you-can't-get-there-from here location.
