Dear Gladys,PR,

Thank you for the recipe, but this in reference to your comment about what they are called "NOW." My grandmother died 3 years ago at the age of 98. She was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She also lived there for the majority of her life. She always called them Pastelillos.
Perhaps the difference in names for things are regional, not necessarity contemporary.
