This is the same recipe that I have been using and it is a beautiful tender dough with NO KNEADING. It is better than the recipe my family used for years. The only thing that I do differently is I do not use the cinnamon since the bakeries that we bought this from did not have cinnamon in their versions. It really isn't necessary. I am still puzzled why this pastry isn't available outside of Maryland.
