Just finished making my son's cake for his 18th birthday tomorrow. made a chocolate sponge cake in jelly roll pan. When cool I sliced his favorite ice cream and rolled it up. when the ice cream is solid again, I will frost and decorate simply. At 18, he tells me he doesn't want fancy or cutesy. Just good! One 18 year olds idea.
