Hi Ed;
If you go to their webpage www.salton-maxim.com There is an e-mail option if you scroll down to the bottom. They may be able to send you an instruction booklet and/or furnish you with some recipes.
We had a sandwich maker many years ago and the kids loved grilled cheese sandwiches made in it.
