re: Tomato Kraut with Wieners (Hot Dogs)

The recipes really are similar... I think I'd prefer your Mom's as it has the tomato sauce. Don't know if it's my imagination, or what, but canned tomato soup does not taste as it used to; and even the color is 'off', from what I remember.

Have 100 pounds of homemade sauerkraut out in my garage, curing, and after it is ready to can, I plan to try your recipe.

Happy to know that your Mom found her recipe.
