Re: Would You Believe . . . Flying Peaches!

I think that the flavor and taste of a juicy fresh ripe peach is probably the best thing in the world! The worst is a hard, dry, tasteless styrofoam peach such as I had today. Got about 6 ("from California" - gotta be good!) the other day, and hoped that the little hocky pucks would soften and ripen, but no, they just started wrinkling. So, peeled them by hand (of course, boiling water method would not release the skins) and chopped them and put sugar on, still hard and tasteless - SO, send me all your juicy ripe peaches, fly them here!!!

Love your story, Sarah!
