I'm not familiar with Kenmore so I can't comment re that model.

My sister-in-law has a Maytag side-by-side and loves it. She had one before but it was damaged in an electrical storm ... and she insisted in getting another Maytag even tho it was more expensive than another brand offered (I don't know what the other brand was.

I have a whirlpool side by side and like it very much.
