EASY ROLLS
1 cup self-rising flour*
1/2 cup milk**
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 6-cup muffin tin.
Mix together flour and milk. Add sugar and mayonnaise. Pour into prepared muffin cups.
Bake until done, 12 to 15 minutes.
*Substitute for self-rising flour: For each cup of self-rising flour called for in a recipe, substitute 1 cup of all-purpose flour plus 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
**For best results (and the most tender rolls), use whole milk.
