Recipe(tried): Hawaiian Macaroni Salad (from Waianae Drive Inn)

Salads - Potato, Pasta
Hello Suva,

We've tried the mac salad at L&L's. We agree it's dry and not like the creamy mac salad we've had from Diner's in Hawaii. Here is a creamy mac salad that we absolutely love and have added to our recipe box.

Macaroni Salad from Waianae Drive Inn

"This came from my cousin who worked at Wendy's Drive Inn in Kaneohe."

Large Macaroni
1/4 cup grated carrots
1 cup Best Foods mayonnaise (a must)
1/4 cup milk
salt & pepper

Cook macaroni till tender. Add grated carrots, mayonaise, and milk till well coated. Salt & Pepper to taste.
