Misc.
Rip off the backs and use the fronts as...

post cards
gift tags
gift trim (wrap your gift in plain paper and glue a card in the center, like a framed print)
tree ornaments
place cards at a formal dinner

Cut out the motifs and use on...

thank you notes (glue to plain note cards)
children's collages
napkin holders
wreaths and garlands

There are also charities that accept card fronts for recycling into "new" Christmas cards. They glue on new backs and provide envelopes. I hope someone else has addresses for these organizations; I've misplaced the one that I had.
