What to do with a ham bone??

Misc.

Hi everyone!

I just froze the left-over slices of honey baked ham we had for the holidays. I've never done anything with the bone before, but since there is a good deal of meat clinging to it (but too much trouble to try to cut those little pieces off) it seems a waste not to cook it somehow. I'm hoping someone makes a vegetable type soup (but not split pea because my husband will not touch it)that incorporates the ham bone. I'm open to any suggestions I can use to make it tomorrow. Thank you in advance!!

Take care :)
Julie
