Recipe: buttermilk answer

Tips and Tricks - Cooking
dear linda, you can make "sour milk". just take the same amount that the recipe calls for and use ordinary sweet milk. then add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar to each cup of milk used. let it settle for a minute and stir slightly. it looks kind of ugly, but it will blend with all the other ingredients and mix nicely and taste good. it will not have a buttery taste so you can add that if you want.
