ISO: Puffed Rice Rice Balls using white karo syrup

puffed rice balls,
i use to make this recipe as a child,but, i do not remember using molasses, only white karo. i got the recipe from the puffed rice box back in the 40s. would you tell me if the original recipe called for white karo only. have a great day. thank you very much. have a great day, Hildred Robinette
