Recipe: Bread Machine Multi-Grain Bread (using 7 or 9 grain cereal)

BREAD MACHINE MULTI-GRAIN BREAD

For 1 large (2 lb.) loaf:
1 1/2 cups water
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 cup liquid honey
2 cups all-purpose bread flour
2 cups whole-wheat flour
1 cup 7- to 9-grain cereal or Red River cereal
2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon quick-rise or bread-machine yeast

Add ingredients to pan in order listed. Select whole-wheat, regular crust color, rapid or delay and large loaf size. Press start button.

Check the dough during the first stage of kneading and add more water or flour, 1 tablespoon at a time, if necessary.
