ISO: Side Dishes for BBQ - Some ideas please?

Hey I'm planning this romantic day for my boyfriend and I. I plan on having a picnic after we go to a park...I already have bbq planned and I'm wondering what should I put with it, he hates any types of beans and doesn't like onions...can I get some ideas and maybe some recipes?? Thank you! :)
