ISO: mincemeat custard pie

Misc.
I am looking for a mincemeat custard pie recipe I had years ago. It was in a set of gourmet cookbooks that I rarely used, so I sold them in a yardsale. Then when I went to make this pie again, I remembered there was that one recipe in the set that I wanted! I've looked for it for years, and hope someone might finally be able to help. All I remember is that it was a single crust pie, and that the mincemeat and the custard were mixed together. When it baked, the mincemeat and some of the custard settled to the bottom of the pie, and the rest of the custard rose to the top. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks for any help.
