Recipe: 5 Yellow Cake Recipes from Scratch (re: Original Bacardi Rum Cake)

Hi Mario,

I have recipe booklets from Bacardi Rum that go back to 1976 and each recipe for Bacardi Rum Cake uses a cake mix. I hope someone will have the recipe you're looking for. If it doesn't turn up, you can use a from scratch yellow cake recipe (2-layer or Bundt), or for that matter any cake (pound cake, chocolate, pineapple, etc.) and use the rum glaze on it. I often double the rum glaze and use it on other Bundt or 13x9-inch cakes before topping or frosting. Vanilla flavored rum is good too.
