Recipe(tried): 7 Layer Dip that is so simple to make and so Yummy!!
Appetizers and Snacks7 LAYER DIP
1 can refried beans
2 avacados, mashed (I use 3 or 4)
1/2 cup mayo
1/2 packg. taco mix (I use full package)
2 medium tomato's chopped ( I use 1 - 1 1/2 seeded and towel dried)
1 cup grated cheese (I use the packaged shredded cheddar cheese)
1/2 cup cream cheese (1/2 of an 8 oz. package - I use the whole bar)
1 can chopped black olives
(chopped green onions if u like them) I use 1 medium sized sweet onion chopped and make a whole layer with it.
Spread refried beans on platter.
Spread mashed avacado's over the beans.
Mix mayo and cream cheese together with the taco mix then spread over the avacado's.
Next layer I put the onions (chopped)
Next layer I put the sliced olives
Next layer I put the tomatoes (Chopped)
Last but not least I cover the tomato's in a layer of the shredded cheddar cheese.
I put in refridgerator for at least 1 hour to get cold and firm....
Get some tortille chips etc... and MUNCH MUNCH MUNCH!
Tip: I used to mash everything and chopp everything etc.... all by hand it cuts down the time SO MUCH by using the food processor. I have one; hardly ever used it, and now by golly swear by it! hahahaha
