Recipe: American chop suey

American Chop Suey

1 lb ground beef
2 cups celery, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 can mushrooms
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 & 1/2 cups water
4 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 cup rice
1 can chop suey noodles.

Brown beef, add celery and onion and simmer.
Add mushrooms, soup and water, soy sauce and rice.
bake for 1 hour.
Put chop suey noodles on top and bake a further 15 minutes.
