Recipe(tried): applesauce cranberry salad, for Leta

Hi Leta, here is a cranberry salad recipe using applesauce.

Cranberry Jello Mold
1 cup boiling water.
2 - 3oz. boxes raspery or strawberry jello ( I use the raspberry )
1 - 16oz.can jellied cranberry sauce
1-1/2 cups thick applesauce

Disolve jello in boiling water. Add cranberry sauce and applesauce and mash in with hand potatoe masher or wire wisk. Pour into 1 qt. mold. This is very quick and easy, I sometimes use this recipe for a quick summer salad.

Applesauce cake would be another way to use up applesauce.
