Beans With Harissa

1 Lg Sweet Red Pepper Bell -- Cored
2 Tsp Tomato Paste
1 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
1 Clove Garlic -- Peeled
1/4 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/4 Tsp Ground Cumin
1/4 Tsp Ground Caraway Seeds
1/4 Tsp Cayenne Pepper
1/8 Tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper
3 Sprigs Parsley Leaves
4 Sprigs Cilantro, Leaves
3 C Cooked Great Northern Beans

Place the red pepper in a medium bowl, cover, and mircowave on HIGH for 6 minutes. Puree, without the liquid that has accumulated under the pepper, in a food processor with the tomato paste, vinegar, garlic, cinnamon, cumin, caraway, cayenne, and black pepper. Add the parsley and cilantro and process until herbs are finely chopped. Mix with the beans. Serve cold or at room temperature.
