Recipe: Blueberry Buttermilk Muffins

BLUEBERRY BUTTERMILK MUFFINS

"My Mom's favorite recipe."

2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 1/2 cups fresh or dry-pack frozen blueberries
Sugar or cinnamon-sugar (for sprinkling on top)

Mix dry ingredients together into a large bowl. Make a well and add buttermilk, eggs and butter; mix well. 

Fold in blueberries. Fill well greased muffin tins half full. Sprinkle with sugar or cinnamon-sugar.

Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes (a bit longer if using frozen berries).
