Recipe: Blueberry Pie Filling

Misc.

Hi Luann -- This is the only recipe for canning blueberry pie filling that I have. (I have quite a few that are for making a pie same day.)

This one is pretty basic (no flavorings added) and a little shy on directions. It's from an "Amish-Mennonite" cookbook. Let us know if you try it.Blueberry Pie Filling

Put in saucepan and bring to boiling point:
3 quarts blueberries
3 cups sugar
1 quart water

Mix in separate bowl 1-1/2 cups of clear-jell with water to make a paste. Add to the blueberry mixture and stir until clear. Dip in jars and process 5 lbs. pressure and off.
