Wendy, To keep things really simple, you could buy an assortment of British cheeses such as Cheshire, Stilton etc., if you have a source for international cheeses somewhere close. Don't be afraid to ask for a taste or help/recommendations from their cheese experts. Serve them on a pretty platter, with Carr's Water bicuits or other assorted crackers, and maybe some fruit such as apples, and grapes. Don't forget cheese knives or knives for cutting/serving the different types of cheese. You could even maybe make the Cheshire Potted Cheese and include it on the tray/platter.
