Recipe: Butterscotch Honey Cereal Crunchies (cookies using corn flakes and Rice Krispies)

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup margarine
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed sugar
1/3 cup honey
1 egg
1 (6 oz) pkg butterscotch chips (or peanut butter chips)
2 cups corn flake cereal, slightly crushed
2 cups crisp rice cereal
1 cup flaked coconut, optional
Combine flour, baking soda and baking powder; set aside.
Cream margarine, sugars, honey and egg together thoroughly. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture, mixing well. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture, mixing well.
Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 8-10 minutes, or until golden. Cool 5 minutes, then remove to rack and cool completely.
Makes about 72 cookies
