Recipe(tried): Cajun Seafood Boil (Dunk)

Misc.
I use Zatarain's Crab Boil in a Bag for seasoning. One bag will season about 4 lbs Shrimp or crawfish or 1 dozen crabs. The salt is tricky, crawfish and crab need more than shrimp. Use about 4 to 6 tablespoons for the above amount of seafood. I add usually a whole head of garlic, an onion or two, 1 or 2 lemons quartered. Add Cayene pepper to taste. Bring to a boil and put in your seafood. Boil crab 20 minutes, crawfish 15 minutes and shrimp 2 minutes. Let soak in water 5 minutes.

I boil corn on the cob, potatoes, eggs, and have thrown in turnip roots. I boil this before the seafood and romove from the pot, adding it back to the pot just before serving. I have never cooked the sausage in this manner, but people around throw it in with the seafood. They use link sausage, hotdogs, and my neighbor puts ham in the pot.

Hope this helps, it is hard to give a recipe, when we just throw in the pot. If I don't have crab boil,I have used seafood seasoning, such as Old Bay, McCormicks Seafood Seasoning, or any of the creole seasonings you find.
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A LARGE POT AND UNLESS YOU WANT THAT SMELL IN YOUR HOUSE, COOK, AND EAT OUTSIDE.
