CHEESY POTATOES
1 bag frozen hashbrowns
1 can cream of mushroom soup
16 oz shredded cheese (I use medium cheddar)
small container or half container of sour cream
1/2 stick butter cut into small pieces
FOR TOPPING:
crushed cornflakes, Ritz crackers, or bread crumbs, mixed with 1/3 stick of butter, optional.
Mix all together except the topping, put into greased casserole dish (it does shrink and it will seem dry).
Bake at 375 for about an hour, add topping, broil on low until browned.
OPTIONAL ADDITIONS:
cooked bacon, browned hamburger, oonions, ham, pretty much anything and everyone loves it!
