Recipe: Cherry Chocolate Chip Cookies (using cherry chip cake mix)

CHERRY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

1 pkg. super-moist cherry chip cake mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Mix 1/2 of the dry cake mix, butter, eggs, and vanilla in a large bowl until smooth. Stir in remaining cake mix and then add chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoons about 2 inches apart onto an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake 10 to 12 minutes (center will be soft).

Makes about 6 dozen
