Recipe: Brain Bundles (coconut cookies)

BRAIN BUNDLES*

1 cup sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp almond extract
1/4 tsp cinnamon
3 cups coconut
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup mini marshmallows
2 to 3 drops black or blue food coloring

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

Use a wooden spoon to stir together all the ingredients except the food coloring large mixing bowl.

To give brains a natural gray color, add food coloring drop by drop until batter is an even shade.

Drop teaspoonfuls of dough onto a greased baking sheet. Lightly press the hollow side of the teaspoon over each brain (to round their shape.

Place baking sheet in oven for 13-15 minutes (watch them carefully). Remove and transfer onto wire racks to cool.

Makes: 3 dozen brain transplants
