Beverlee...hope you aren't still waiting after 5 years!
Mom found this years ago ...it was a small booklet in a Canadian magazine and this particular one was a recipe from a White House chef. I don't recall about Jackie Kennedy...but this has to be it! (I'm making it tonight!)

CHICKEN DIABLO

1 21/2 lb fryer chicken, cut up
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup oil
2 tbsp flour
1 cup hot chicken broth
1 1/2 tsp dry mustard
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp ketchup
paprika

Salt and pepper chicken, brown in oil. Remove from pan.

Stir in flour. Add water. Cook slowly until mixture thickens, stirring constantly.

Add remaining ingredients. Add chicken, cover pan and simmer for 1 hour until chicken is tender.
