Recipe: Chicken Noodle Soup with Sweet Potatoes (using chicken thighs)
SoupsCHICKEN NOODLE SOUP WITH SWEET POTATOES
6 to 8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
2 sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
1 onion, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1/4 tsp. marjoram
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
8 oz. egg noodles, uncooked
Combine all ingredients except the egg noodles in the Crock-Pot Slow Cooker.
Cover; cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours or on High for 4 to 5 hours.
Cook egg noodles according to package directions; drain.
Stir cooked egg noodles into soup before serving.

This is the closest recipe I found - maybe you can experiment with it. Hopefully someone will have the exact recipe to share.
