Recipe: Chicken Rice Casserole for Kmitschke

CHICKEN RICE CASSEROLE

Lay 5 pieces bacon in bottom of casserole dish. Sprinkle 1 cup of uncooked rice over the bacon. Arrange parts of uncooked chicken over the rice. Season with salt, pepper and oregano. Mix 2 cans of cream of chicken soup and about 1/2 cup of water together and pour over this mixture. Completely wrap dish with foil and cook for 2 hours at 350 degrees. Uncover about 20 minutes before done to brown.

A variety of soups can be used instead of cream of chicken such as celery, mushroom, etc.
