Recipe(tried): Chili with Beans (using catsup)

This is the recipe I have used for years..It is hot and spicy..

Chili with Beans

2 lb. lean ground beef
2 med. onions, chopped
1 med. bell pepper, chopped
3 Tablespoons chili powder
3 cans hot chili beans
1 small can Tomato paste
1 large (15oz) can Tomato sauce
1 small (8 oz) can Tomato sauce
1 small bottle Hot catsup

Place pepper and onion in a large pot with a small amount of water and cook until tender.
Cook ground beef until brown. Drain well.
Add meat to onion and pepper. Cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.
Stir in chili powder. Mix well.
Cook 20 minutes on medium.
Add chili beans and turn off heat. Cover and let set 10 minutes.
Add the bottle of catsup. Stir well.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
