I dont know if this is what u want but is a genuine tea cake:
Cinnamon Tea Cake
From: C.W.A. Cookbook
Cream 1 tablespoon butter with half a cup caster sugar.
Add one egg and beat well. Alt add 1/2 cup milk and 1 cup self raising flour until well combined. Cook for 30 - 40 mins. When still hot, brush with butter and sprinkle half cinnamon and 1/2 caster sugar over top.
