Recipe: Coffee Quick Shake with Variations (Maxwell House recipe, 1951)

COFFEE QUICK SHAKE2 1/2 teaspoons Instant Maxwell Coffee
4 teaspoons sugar
2 cups chilled milk
Combine Instant Maxwell House, sugar, and milk in shaker, glass jar, or electric blender. Then shake well or blend. Serve in tall glasses.
VARIATIONS:
COFFEE FLOAT:
Serve Coffee Quick Shake with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Top with mint leaves or colored sugar.
MOCHA FLOAT:
To Coffee Quick Shake add 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup. Shake, then top with vanilla or chocolate ice cream and mint.
