Recipe(tried): Cream cheese can be frozen

Tips and Tricks - Cooking

Your dip will only keep, in the fridge, as long as your ingredients would have. (check your expiration dates) However, you can freeze cream cheese, and it will last for several weeks in the freezer. You'll know it starts to go bad if it starts looking "burned", or develops a crust and starts to crack. I made a cream cheese spread with apple and cinnamon and the portion my boyfriend didn't get a hold of lasted at least 6 weeks in the freezer. And I often buy it in bulk for the upcoming holidays and stick it in the freezer until I'm ready to use it.

Sorry I don't have a better answer, I hope this helps!
