Recipe: Creamy Fudge (makes 4 pounds, Walmart/Great Value Marshmallows bag)

1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
2/3 cup evaporated milk (5 oz. can)
1 (10 1/2 ounce) package miniature marshmallows
3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups walnuts, coarsely chopped
Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with foil. Spray the foil with nonstick cooking spray.
Add sugar, butter, evaporated milk and marshmallows to saucepan. Heat to boiling over medium heat. Boil and stir 5 minutes.
Add chocolate chips and vanilla to sugar mixture. Stir to blend well and chips are melted. Stir in coarsely chopped walnuts. Pour fudge mixture into the prepared pan. Chill overnight.
Cut into 1-inch squares. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. For creamier texture let the fudge stand at room temperature 1 hour before serving.
