Recipe: French Toast with a Twist (using Tang, 1970's)

Breakfast and Brunch
FRENCH TOAST WITH A TWIST

1/2 cup milk
2 to 3 tablespoons Tang Breakfast Beverage Crystals
2 eggs
8 slices white bread*
Butter or margarine
Syrup (for serving)

Combine milk and breakfast beverage crystals in bowl and stir until dissolved. Add eggs and beat well.

Lightly butter a skillet or electric griddle and preheat.

Dip bread slices in egg mixture, turning to soak both sides. Fry in skillet, turning to brown both sides.

Serve with syrup.

*Or use 1 loaf French bread, sliced and double recipe.

Makes 4 servings
