Recipe(tried): Cure for bitter Tonato Sauce

Hi Kathy,
I too have found this to be true when using the last of the garden tomatoes. Two things I do: add sugar, a little at a time after the sauce has been heated thru. I also add a pat of cold butter at the end of cooking. It adds a richness to the sauce. Hope this helps.
