Recipe(tried): Bitter Tomato Sauce Cure

Tips and Tricks - Cooking
To solve bitter tomato sauce, take a knife, wet it and dip it into baking soda. Then put the knife into your sauce. The baking soda bubbles up and will reduce the "bitterness" in the sauce. You may do this a few times if the sauce is very bitter. I learned this from a very old woman neighbor who was born and raised in Italy and it was a great tip!
