Recipe: Deb's Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Misc.
Hi just wnted to share this Posted it elsewhere but thought others would enjoy as that post was dated awhile back.
Well this is a new one I came up with after seeing the movie
"Bridges of Madison County". When the character (sorry
name escapes me at the moment) made reference to a
"Brown Sugar Meatloaf" So my husband said that sounded
good.So I attempted to make it and it was delicious
everyone loved it friends and family.
Makes great Meatballs to serve with steamed white rice

Deb's Brown Sugar Meatloaf
2 pounds ground beef
1 box light brown sugar (I use about 3/4 of the box)
1 onion finely chopped
2 eggs beaten
1 cup fine bread crumbs (seasoned or not doesn't matter)
1 TBSP mustard
dash of each of the following spices:
ground cloves
nutmeg
garlic
1 TBSP Pancake Syrup
Prepare
Mix hamburger and all the ingredients together NOTE the
mixture will be sticky and moist (you might even think it
won't hold together) you can add up to 2 cups of the bread
crumbs the consistancy is like regular meatloaf except its just
feels wetter because of the sugar. Spray the loaf pan and
place meat inside if no loaf pan can also place in 13 X 9 pan
and shape to flat oval loaf. I use a microwave glass pan.
Bake at 375 uncovered for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. I
always cut and check to be sure no pinkness in the meat and
have cooked them a full 1 hour and 30 minutes. Let stand I
serve mine with baked potatoes . Hope you like it...
