Recipe(tried): Dui Balls (using pecans and Crown Royal Whiskey)

Desserts - Candy, Chocolate
DUI BALLS

2 lbs pecans, finely chopped
1 liter Crown Royal Whiskey
3 to 4 lbs powdered sugar
2 bags melting chocolate

Place nuts in large airtight container. Pour enough Crown until covered. Close container and let stand for 4 weeks. Daily add more Crown as the pecans soak it up.

Drain pecans. Mix enough powdered sugar with pecans until the mixture can be formed into balls. Roll into small balls. Place in refrigerator.

Melt chocolate. Dip balls and place on waxed paper.

I freeze these until I'm ready for quests or a company party. Balls can stay in bowl for up to a week.

Great recipe! I am asked every year for these famous balls!!

ENJOY...
