Recipe: Hard Fudge, Old Hard Fudge, and Old Fashion Fudge - Recipes for misty

HARD FUDGE

5 cups sugar
1 cup butter
1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 (12 oz) pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips

Butter a jelly roll pan or coat with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.

Combine sugar, evaporated milk, and butter together in a saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil. Boil for exactly 8 minutes. Remove from heat.

Add miniature marshmallows and semi-sweet chocolate chips and stir until chips and marshmallows are melted and mixture is well combined. Pour into prepeared jellyroll pan.

OLD HARD FUDGE

1 cup instant hot cocoa mix
1 1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup butter

Butter a square pan or coat with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.

Put all ingredients in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Lower heat. Cook until it forms a ball when placed in cold water.

Remove from heat and beat for a few minutes. Pour into prepared pan. Allow to set before cutting.
