EASY BEEF AND NOODLES
3 slices bacon
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 lb. ground beef
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup chili sauce
Salt and pepper (to taste)
3 cups uncooked egg noodles
1/2 to 3/4 cup water
Shredded cheddar cheese
Cook bacon in skillet until crisp. Remove bacon and crumble; set aside.
Saute onions in bacon drippings until tender.
Add beef and cook until brown, stirring to crumble . Drain off drippings.
Stir in tomato sauce, green peppers, chili sauce, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
Add uncooked noodles and water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered until noodles are tender.
Stir in bacon and sprinkle with cheese.

This isn't exactly what you're asking for, but maybe you can experiment with substituting elbow macaroni for the noodles. Hopefully someone will come along with the exact recipe to share.
